Paying your rent on time is important to maintain a good relationship with your landlord, and of course to make sure you are honouring the terms of your agreement.
Remembering to pay your rent in full and on time can be difficult. It’s easy to forget the date amongst all the things happening in modern busy lives. You might suddenly remember while on a flight to go on holiday. Or while on a relaxing retreat with no internet access.
We have therefore joined up with GoCardless to setup a direct debit with all our tenants. The setup is done online. This provides peace of mind for tenants. Rent is paid automatically each month on time.
If you are short of funds at the time, then gocardless alerts you and tries again later.
Northwood are notified of any issues, so we can also contact you to resolve any issues.
