Lettings Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lettings Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a passion for property management. As the Lettings Manager, you will oversee the lettings process, ensuring that all operations run smoothly while providing exceptional service to clients and tenants alike. This role requires effective communication and administrative abilities, as well as the capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lettings process from initial enquiry through to tenancy commencement.
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants to ensure all parties are informed and satisfied throughout the letting journey.
  • Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information about available properties. Use of pool car.
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and property details.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants.
  • Supervise and mentor lettings staff, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and property management.
  • Handle tenant queries and resolve any issues that may arise during the tenancy period.
  • Stay updated on market trends, local regulations, and best practices within the lettings sector.

Essential:

Proven experience in a lettings or property management role is essential.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent administrative capabilities, including proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • A thorough understanding of current legislation affecting lettings is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will work within a team of property professionals from a busy West Derby office. We are committed to providing opportunities for professional growth and development. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9am—5:30pm, and alternate Saturdays, 9am—12pm.
