Herefordshire is a unique county with a lot to offer. Steeped in history with historic buildings, special sites of interest, and the hub to many nearby towns and beautiful villages. Its location means that so many places are within easy reach and with good rail services and motorway links it is popular with business people, families, and retired alike. Hereford with the offerings of a small city bordering an expanse of beautiful countryside which cascades over the borders into Wales, and Ross-on-Wye a bit further south with all it’s character of a typical market town offers charm and a more laid-back lifestyle.
Regular street markets can be found in the city centre of Hereford and Ross-on-Wye. Cider is a famous export. Although Herefordshire is predominantly an agricultural county, there is a wealth of varied industry and business spread across it. An upside is the beautiful countryside that is right on the doorstep of Hereford.
