In 2009, Laura and her husband Steven (and months’ old baby, William) opened the doors to Northwood in the bustling area of Rosemount.
Driven into action by poor service they’d received whilst letting their own property and having a passion for property, they knew they could provide excellent customer service, attention to detail and reassurance to landlords in the North East. Both chartered accountants, they share an entrepreneurial spirit and in 2017, Steven opened the neighbouring TaxAssist office which now has four offices in Aberdeen, Inverurie, Banchory and Altens.
They had identified a gap in the market for a client-centric property agent, and buying into the Northwood franchise with over 95 offices across the UK offered an additional layer of expertise.
After several years of successfully serving landlords with tailor-made solutions including the market-leading Guaranteed Rent service, where Northwood effectively become your tenant, and guaranteeing rent for at least 12 months, they branched into the property sales market in 2017. Bespoke by Northwood delivers a boutique-style of estate agency service, with a dedicated one to one advisor, a curated marketing plan and a network of buyers.
Now, alongside Operations Director, Matt, they lead a team of 12 and have opened a further office in on the hight street in Inverurie and Banchory, with another in Stonehaven, enabling them to serve the North East. With community at the heart of all plans, they are proud members of Inverurie BID and supporters of many local charities and giving back to the community.
