2024 is Northwood North East’s 15th year in business. To mark the milestone, the team unanimously agreed to ‘give back’ to the local community by volunteering at one of the many North East charities who do such incredible work. This November, we’ll take things a step further for our charity partners by completing a fire walk!
We’ve sorted through donations, rebuilt geese encounters, painted walls, jetwashed patios, walked sheep (yes, really!) and portioned food for foodbanks, and we’ve also hosted a car boot sale and a donation station.
In addition to these volunteering days, we’ve been fundraising. Our chosen charity partners for 2024 were selected by the team and voted for by our clients and contractors; Aberdeen Amateur Athletics, Forget Me Not and Friends of Anchor. All money raised will be split equally between the three truly outstanding charities.
In August, the team walked 18.6 miles – from our newest office in Banchory to our first office in Rosemount – raising over £3,000. And we’re hoping to raise even more money.
