Congratulations to Northwood Property Manager Alicja Higgins, who celebrates her fifth anniversary with the Aberdeen office!
Alicja joined the Rosemount team after graduating from The Robert Gordon University, where she studied Law and Management. During her third year, she spent a year working with the Northwood team, where she developed an interest in the sector.
Since joining Northwood as a permanent member of staff, Alicja has successfully completed the LETWELL qualification with Landlord Accreditation Scotland.
She has also gained a deeper understanding of different aspects of property management ranging from tenant relations to maintenance and compliance.
Alicja said: “Over the years, I have learned the value of proactive communication with both tenants and landlords by addressing concerns early to maintain long-term positive relationships. My favourite part of the job is helping tenants find their dream property, and the landlords find the right tenant for them.
“There have been so many highlights over the years, but I have to say that our 15×15 initiative – supporting 15 local organisations and charities to mark our 15th year in business – has been one of the best. We have had an opportunity to learn, volunteer, and fundraise for many admirable causes.
“It’s a pleasure being part of and working for Northwood, with its great values and which does so much for its local communities.”
