In July, we’ll mark our 15×15 milestone with a fundraiser in support of MISS (Miscarriage Support Services), the only dedicated early pregnancy loss support charity in the North East Scotland.
As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, the Northwood team is dedicating at least a day per month to support at least one charity, volunteering our time for local causes we believe in.
On 28th July, join us at Thainstone car boot sale – with all monies raised being donated to MISS.
About MISS
MISS provides compassionate support to women and men in the North East of Scotland who have experienced a loss during their pregnancy journey. Their free and confidential services offer a safe and understanding space for individuals and couples to navigate this challenging time.
Stastics tell us that an estimated 1 in 5 pregnancies end in miscarriage, with most happening in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. At Northwood, we believe it’s important to open channels of communication and provide appropriate levels of care to our team, and we’re delighted this charity has been chosen by employees.

Ali and Trish from our Northwood team will be leading the event, and have been busy collecting donations from our staff and contractors.
